As we know wood is naturally warm, hardwood makes a great sure footing when walking barefoot as opposed to the likes of ceramic and stone which cold and hard to that of the warmth that wood.

Our Spa Oak hardwood flooring has been specially developed for use in the bathrooms which has enhanced moisture resistance due to the enhanced engineered structure to manage the shrinkage and swelling that of a standard engineered hardwood floor. We have 3 colour tones within the Spa Oak range has been designed for use in humid conditions, Oak, Smoked Oak and African Oak which allows you to be creative with an inspirational design alternative to stone and ceramic flooring.

The Spa Oak hardwood floor range is prefinished at the factory-mill using high-quality natural oil which is moisture resistance, after installation, you simply apply two additional coats of clean & green aqua oil for total protection.

Why Oil and not lacquer? Well, oil is naturally absorbed into the pores of the hardwood and does not prevent the hardwood to naturally breathe, the surface has an intensified treatment of oil which optimally protects the Oakwood floor against moisture penetration.

Installation is of the Spa Oak is simply fixed to sub-floor has to be glued to the subfloor and sealed with permanently flexible joint filler around the perimeter, Spa Oak hardwood flooring can be installed over underfloor heating.
