Moabi is pinkish brown or when darker a more reddish brown but will be more uniformed across the hardwood surface with natural variance
As with most exotic hardwoods Moabi will darken with age, its sapwood of greyish brown blends with its grain which is quilted but wavy with straight fine texture.
Moabi is also known as African Pearwood and was popular in the US due to it rarity and opulence with distinguished households of the East Coast of America.
