Iroko Wood Flooring

With its distinctive golden brown colour, Iroko (also called Kambala) floors can provide your home with a look of class and distinction.

This wooden flooring has a passing resemblance to Teak and this is the reason it is often called African Teak. Although the tree can be found all over the continent it is becoming more endangered to find and therefore harder to find in the UK and should only be sourced from sustainable suppliers.

Maples & Birch ethically only sell Iroko that is milled from trees sourced from sustainable ethical farmed forests which are regulated by ethical environmental groups/bodies that govern the planets valuable environmental forests.

Here at Maples and Birch, we have access to one of the largest ranges of exotic wood flooring so can provide you with a variety of Iroko wood flooring, be it Parquet, Engineered or Parquet.

The light golden yellow colour of this wood can darken over time to a medium brown colour. The grain can be stand out and provide Iroko (Kambala) flooring with character to give your home an exclusive look. With the high cost of genuine Teak, many people are turning to Iroko wood floors as a lower cost alternative.
